Bill Mollisons Global Gardener (Cool Climate Episode)

Bill Mollison has for three decades traveled the globe spreading the word of permaculture, the method of sustainable agriculture that he devised (co-created with David Holmgre). This documentary series shows Bill traveling the globe showing proven examples of Permaculture in action, all in a full range of climates. In this episode he visits temperate (cool) climates including England, UK. More episodes to follow in future.

Permaculture weaves together things such as microclimates, annual and perennial plants, animals, soils and water management together along with human needs to help create intricately connected productive communities. Mollison has shown here that even in the most difficult conditions permaculture can empower people on a local level to turn wastelands into food forests.

Enjoy this old but classic documentary back from 1991.
